ONE DAY ECO TOUR IN HUE CITY

Tour Program

- 08:00 AM: Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hue City Center. Start your trip one - day with no single – use plastic.

- Our first destination is Tu Hieu Pagoda – known as the spiritual home of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. It is not only a place for the monks to lead an awakening life but also offers a space for meditation, reflection, and escape from the hustle of daily life.

Chùa Từ Hiếu bị rác tâm linh... tấn công- Then, stop at  Vong Canh Hill –  a scenic spot known for its perfect harmony of mountains and rivers. Once a favorite retreat of Nguyen emperors, the hill offers a poetic panoramic view of the Perfume River and the surrounding countryside.

Vong Canh Hill - khamphahue.com.vn/en-us- Leaving Vong Canh Hills, we reach  Thuy Xuan Incense Village to visit a local family who produces the conical hat, or “Nón lá” in Vietnamese—a symbol recognized worldwide. You are captivated by the meticulous process and artistry behind these beautiful cultural icons. Hands-on experience making incense sticks.

Thuy Xuan Incense Village- Hue Traditional Craft Village - Vietnamvacation- 10:30 AM: Head to Thuy Bieu Village – the soul of  Hue’ countryside, nestled just 5–7 kilometers from Hue city center along the poetic Perfume River. Upon arrival at Thuy Bieu Village, you’ll be greeted by lush pomelo gardens, bamboo groves, and winding village paths shaded by ancient trees.

- You will cycle to visit craft villages like making incense in Thuy Bieu where you will have the fun hands – on experience learning how to make incense sticks with local people. 

- Continue to visit an ancient garden house over 100 years old, enjoy a cup of hot tea, and chat with local people to understand more about the lifestyle and culture of the people here.

Day Tour | Explore Thuy Bieu Ancient Village and Join a Cooking Class | Hue  | Joytime- Learn to cook net shrimp spring rolls – Chả rế and figs salads – Vả trộn. Make traditional Sesame Candy (kẹo mè xửng) under the guidance of the house owner. Then you can do it by yourself and enjoy what you make. The owner will give you a pack of Sesame candies as a gift.

- And enjoy your lunch with the dishes what you have prepared.

- After lunch, let’s relax your feet with 30 minutes of flowers and herbs that help heal your skin and give you a relaxing mind.

- 02:30 PM: Upon reaching Tam Giang Lagoon, we will board a local boat to enjoy the panoramic views.

- Next, we will have a chance kayaking to explore the mangrove forest ecosystem which is called “the lush green wall” surrounding the lagoon, create a scene filled with green for our group to stop and rest.

- Next, we will soak in the cool water and experience a wide range of unique activities as a fisherman like setting the traps (đổ nò), using our feet to catch the clams (đạp trìa) like a real locals fishermen.

- After catching seafood at Tam Giang lagoon, we will grill and enjoy seafood what we have caught on the boat with our own hands.

- 03:10 PM: Check-in floating house system where these local houses are built with unique architecture can make the whole float on the water, used as a resting place for fishermen in the middle of their working time.

- 04:00 PM: Enjoy the light snacks on the boat like fruits or bánh lọc (Hue’s specialtities) while moving on the boat.

- 05:00 PM:  Finish the boat trip back to the wharf. Our tour guide and driver will take the group back to hotel. Tour ends!

- Free for children under 5 years of age.

- Surcharge 75% adult rate for children from 5 – 10 years old

- Children over  11 years old will be charged as adult.

►CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. If you cancel after booking the tour, you will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.

2. If you cancel within 05 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

3. If you cancel within 01 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

On rainy days, relax with a mud bath at Kobi Onsen instead of visiting Tam Giang Lagoon. Surcharge 8 USD/ per person
