Only two days and a night, you will experience the simple life of indigenous people, through the production activities, daily activities with local people. This is an opportunity where you can just watch the ancient beauty of the ancient village just captivated with the beauty of nature, created for this land.
In the morning, depart to Phuoc Tich. Visit Phuoc Tich ancient village, some typical ancient houses, local people, a pottery workshop, learn about the manufacturing process of pottery items by local artisans.
Have lunch at a villager’s house.
Afternoon, take a boat ride on O Lau River and admire the village’s landscape. Then wander around the village (on foot or by bike), see some daily activities of locals such as noodle, jam and confectionary making, etc.
Heading to Ngu My Thanh Hamlet for check-in the homestay, then take a boat ride on Tam Giang Lagoon and admire the lagoon’s landscape. Tam Giang lagoon is not wave so look gentle, poetic with water, far away are sandy cascades, sand near the lane running each pile of fishing pile fishing shrimp as the fence on the water. During the excursion, you will experience a number of fishing activities such as throwing nets, unloading fish trap, releasing fish to reproduce the environment, … The seafood you catch will be used in snacks right on the boat.
Have dinner with special delicious seafood menu at the local restaurant with the huts over the lagoon. Overnight in the Homestay (Optional: If you want, you might enjoy the traditional dance show (Mua Nap) performed by the local people).
In the morning, you will get up early than usual to visit the floating market Ngu My Thanh where the fishermen do the business with the wholesaler. You will see many kind of fresh seafood back from fishing, some still alive, … or you will taste the busy atmosphere of this famous floating market.
Back the Homestay for breakfast. From here, you will use the bicycle to go around the hamlet/village to discover the daily life of local people. The first stop is The Memorial Area of General Nguyen Chi Thanh. Nguyen Chi Thanh’s old house is still covered with paintings, while the memorial area is quite grandiose. We remember when he entered the battlefield, his admiration, “Stick to the enemy belt that hit.” Leaving this area, we head to Tay Ba local market – the oldest and busiest market between Quang An and Quang Thanh. You will visit, shop and interact with the honest traders, the bold colors of rural Vietnam. In addition, you will visit the area of growing safe vegetables of people with a lot of green vegetables such as lettuce, spinach, coriander, …
Have lunch at the local people’s house with some vegetables you could get from the garden.
Continue the trip, we stop at Bao La Rattan and Bamboo Cooperative where you have the opportunity to witness the people doing stages in the production of household items such as decorative lights, trays, baskets, etc. to fishing gear such as bamboo fish trap, fishing-basket, creel, … You can buy some small models to commemorate the trip.
